North Fork Reservoir

North Fork Reservoir, near Estacada, Oregon, on the Clackamas River system, is a popular and accessible fishing destination, renowned for its reliable trout fishery. It is regularly stocked with rainbow trout by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODFW), ensuring consistent "put-and-take" opportunities. Additionally, the reservoir supports wild cutthroat, bull, brown, and brook trout, which are strictly catch-and-release, alongside seasonal salmon and steelhead.

Fishing conditions are generally excellent for trout, with current early summer water temperatures around 59°F optimal for cold-water species.
