Bradley Lake

Bradley Lake, located in Puyallup’s Bradley Lake Park, is a compact 12-acre lake that offers year-round fishing and excellent accessibility. Stocked each spring and fall with thousands of rainbow trout by WDFW, this urban lake provides ideal conditions for beginners and casual anglers.

Trout are the primary draw, especially in the weeks following stocking. Shore anglers do well with PowerBait, worms, or salmon eggs, while small spinners and spoons can entice cruising fish. Broodstock trout are occasionally included in plantings, offering the chance to hook fish over 5 pounds.

In warmer months, warmwater species like largemouth bass, yellow perch, and bluegill become active. Bass are often found along the weedy western shoreline, while panfish gather near the shallows and are easily caught on worms or small jigs.

Only shore fishing is allowed at Bradley Lake, and its paved perimeter trail gives full access around the lake. The park includes family-friendly amenities like restrooms, benches, and playgrounds, making it ideal for multi-purpose outings.
