Hosmer Lake, near Bend, Oregon, in the Cascade Lakes area, is a unique fly-fishing-only lake celebrated for its exceptional trout and Atlantic salmon. Hosmer Lake is renowned for its prolific Callibaetis (mayfly) hatches, providing superb dry fly opportunities. Nymphing and streamer fishing are also consistently productive.

Fly fishing is the exclusive method permitted, often requiring barbless hooks to protect fish populations. The lake allows electric motors only, contributing to its serene atmosphere, ideal for float tubers and kayakers.
