Upper & Lower Lake Mary

The Lake Mary reservoirs near Flagstaff—Upper and Lower—offer two distinct fishing experiences based on elevation and water levels. Upper Lake Mary, the larger of the two, supports warmwater species such as northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, catfish, and sunfish. Lower Lake Mary is often dry but becomes a productive trout fishery when full.

Upper Lake Mary is best known for its impressive pike population. Anglers targeting them use large lures or live bait around weed beds and deeper drop-offs.
